Looking for an Alternative to Crystal Reports?

We have a solution. Meet the Lasernet platform. Lasernet is an end-to-end document management platform that gives you the ability to generate, design, distribute, archive and retrieve documents from across your business.

What kind of reports and documents can you create?

Lasernet can create virtually any document your organisation needs. Using our drag-and-drop designer, you can build and maintain your own library of customised templates.

  • Customers typically create documents such as:

  • Financial: Invoices, sales orders, purchase orders, account statements

  • Logistics: Shipping labels, barcodes, QR codes, packing slips, customs forms

  • Transactional: Receipts, order confirmations, email and SMS messages, brochures, marketing materials, vouchers

  • Product: Manuals, certificates, product inspection forms, service reports, bespoke order documentation

  • Analytical reports: Usage reports, graphs, charts, infographics and other data-rich templates

  • And much more.

With our customisable forms editor, every document is on brand and pixel perfect. Whether you are producing one document or ten million, the output is consistent every time.

What kind of data can I add into my reports?

You can incorporate data from across your entire IT ecosystem. Using APIs, Lasernet connects to:

  • Databases old and new, including Oracle, Microsoft Access and SQL

  • Internal systems, from legacy platforms to product data systems storing CAD, PLM or PIM information

  • CRM systems and data sources such as Dynamics and Salesforce

  • QMS systems to retrieve CoE, CoC or CoA certificates

  • Flat files including Excel, text files, web logs, XML and file systems

  • And many more.

Once your data is available in Lasernet, you can insert it directly into your templates or combine and sequence multiple files into a single document pack. The data is there. How you present it is entirely up to you.

How can you deliver the documents?

However you choose. The Lasernet platform can distribute documents via email, print, e-invoicing, SMS or WhatsApp. Alternatively, documents can be securely archived and accessed through a portal interface. You decide how your communications are delivered.

How does it work?

Lasernet can connect directly to your core systems, or your systems can post data to Lasernet. A configuration wizard enables you to pull, convert and transform data before generating documents through rules-based workflows or event triggers. You can produce scheduled batches, such as monthly statements, or generate individual documents in real time, such as purchase orders.

Who uses Lasernet?

Lasernet is flexible enough to be used by both IT and non-technical business users. Most organisations operate a centrally managed template library owned by IT, while granting controlled access to business users. Depending on how permissions are structured, users can be given full or limited access to design, manage or trigger documents.

What our customers have to say

"Lasernet has already made a significant impact at Munters. It streamlines complex document workflows in our IFS environment, connects data seamlessly across our systems, and ensures every output is on‑brand and consistent. Our experience has been extremely positive - the solution is powerful and flexible, and it’s already improving the way we work day to day.

Just as importantly, the collaboration with Formpipe has been excellent; their team’s commitment has made it easy for us to move quickly and confidently. We see a large number of potential use cases ahead and expect this partnership to continue adding value across our global operations."
