Flexible hosting for the Lasernet Platform
Run the Lasernet Platform on-premise, in customer-managed private cloud environments, or as SaaS via Lasernet Cloud - with full feature parity across all deployment models.
Deploy Lasernet your way, without compromise
Every organisation has its own IT reality. Some need full control on-premise. Others prioritise offloading infrastructure management and scaling. Many operate somewhere in between.
The Lasernet Platform is designed to fit around you, not the other way round. Whether you are running Lasernet for document generation and distribution, Lasernet Keep for archiving and retrieval, or both together as a single platform, you can choose how and where each part is hosted.
On-premise, hybrid, private cloud or SaaS via Lasernet Cloud: you get the same dependable platform, with the same capabilities, performance and security.
There is no reduced feature set. No second-class deployment. Just flexibility built in from the start.

One platform, deployed where it makes sense
SaaS via Lasernet Cloud
A fully managed way to run the Lasernet Platform. Your teams configure Lasernet to align with your business processes - we handle the rest.
With Lasernet Cloud, we take care of hosting, maintenance, and ongoing updates - so you can focus on delivering value, not running infrastructure.
Lasernet Cloud is delivered on Microsoft Azure and fully operated by our expert engineers on your behalf. We manage the complete platform lifecycle, including infrastructure, monitoring, patching, security updates, and upgrades, ensuring a reliable and consistently up-to-date environment.
Private Cloud
Run the Lasernet Platform in your own cloud environment.
For organisations already established in the cloud, Lasernet and Lasernet Keep can be deployed directly into your own Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services tenant. Customers and partners maintain full control of their environment, with scalability and resilience depending on the selected deployment model, cloud provider and ongoing advancements within Lasernet 11 and our cloud roadmap.
On-premise
Host the Lasernet Platform entirely within your own data centre or private infrastructure.
This option suits organisations with strict data residency requirements, established internal IT teams, or tightly controlled environments. Lasernet and Lasernet Keep run alongside your ERP and core systems, giving you full ownership of infrastructure, security policies and update schedules.
Hybrid
Combine on-premise and cloud deployments within a single Lasernet Platform setup.
A hybrid approach allows you to keep sensitive workloads local while using the cloud where it adds value. For example, document generation may remain on-premise, while archiving, retrieval, disaster recovery or failover runs in the cloud. Information moves securely between environments without disrupting users or processes.
Lasernet Cloud
Managed hosting without the infrastructure burden
Lasernet Cloud removes the day-to-day effort of running document infrastructure while keeping the Lasernet Platform fully configurable to your needs.
You do not need to manage servers, plan upgrades or monitor availability. Everything is handled as part of the service, allowing your teams to focus on reliable document processes rather than maintaining platforms.
Key benefits include:
- Lower total cost of ownership and onboarding by removing on-premise infrastructure and maintenance
- Automatic upgrades to keep Lasernet and Lasernet Keep secure and current
- High availability with built-in monitoring and proactive alerts
- Encrypted data, regular backups and tested recovery procedures
Designed to evolve with your organisation
Hosting decisions rarely stay fixed forever. Growth, cloud strategies, regulatory change and mergers all influence where systems live.
The Lasernet Platform supports this reality. Many organisations start on-premise and move parts of the platform to the cloud over time. Others adopt hybrid models to balance control and flexibility.
Because Lasernet and Lasernet Keep remain part of the same platform, you can evolve your hosting approach without disrupting document creation, distribution or access.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the Lasernet Platform run on AWS and Azure?
Yes. The Lasernet Platform can be hosted in Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services. Lasernet Cloud is delivered exclusively on Microsoft Azure, where hosting and platform operations are managed on your behalf.
Customers and partners can also deploy Lasernet and Lasernet Keep within their own cloud environments on either Azure or AWS, managed by their internal IT teams or trusted hosting partners.
Scalability and resilience capabilities continue to evolve as part of the Lasernet 11 platform and our wider cloud roadmap, with availability varying by deployment model and cloud provider.
Do features change between cloud and on-premise deployments?
Is Lasernet Cloud a product?
Can Lasernet and Lasernet Keep be hosted differently?
How does hosting work for Lasernet with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations?
Instead, only the Lasernet Server is hosted, either on-premise, in your own cloud, or via Lasernet Cloud. Lasernet connects directly to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations using supported integrations, embedding document generation, formatting and distribution seamlessly into the Dynamics user experience. All business data remains within Dynamics, while Lasernet handles document logic and output externally.
This approach reduces infrastructure complexity, avoids unnecessary duplication of systems, and aligns with Microsoft’s cloud-first architecture, while still giving organisations full flexibility over how and where the Lasernet Server itself is hosted.
